The Workspace page

When you go to tome.app while logged in, you'll be brought to Tome's workspace page. This page serves as a file management view where you can see all the work in your workspace and also browse templates to help you get started quickly. Let's go through the different tabs and what they represent:

Workspace tabs

  • Click on the Recent tab to see your recently viewed and edited tomes.

  • Click on the Personal tab to see the private tomes you've created.

  • Click on the Shared with me tab to see tomes that have been shared with you by others with Tome accounts.

  • Click on the tab with your workspace name to see tomes that have been shared with your entire workspace.

    • Tomes will only appear here if they have been set to be shared with the workspace from the "Share" menu in the top right of a Tome!

  • Click on the Templates tab to explore templates that you can make your own.

  • Click on the Deleted tab to see tomes that have been recently deleted.

Does Tome have folders?

Tome doesn't yet have folders but we've found the above tabs to do a lot to help organize things. This being said, we have heard of folks using browser bookmarks to keep track of their work. If you have any feedback about this, please reach out to us at [email protected]! We'd love to hear from you.
