Adding content in Tome (adding tiles!)

Tome's tile system means content types have a corresponding tile type. Popular tile types are the media tiles for pictures and videos or an embed tile for links or web based content. Check out this example with different tile types labelled.

To add a tile, click the corresponding icon on the right side of your screen. You will see options corresponding to the kind of tile you choose (ex: font sizes for the text tile, AI images vs. manual upload for the media tile). Click your preferred option and a tile will be added to the page.

Pro tip: to access the properties of a tile, just click the "..." button in the middle of the top edge of the tile.

Re-arranging tiles in Tome

Clicking and dragging are a common theme of how to arrange and add content within Tome. You can click and drag on the main body of the tile to move it around. To resize a tile, click and drag an edge of the tile.

Pro tip: if you've selected a tile by clicking on it, just hit your keyboard's delete key to delete it!
